clearly, unless you used special techniques for protecting the paint near the vents, you're going to run into issues as hood paint has a tough time staying fresh anyway because of the strength of the sun's rays. Also, are the underhood channels leading to the vents angled such that the flow of air is directed more up than back? Depending on how you've routed the vented air it could introduced some high-speed instability. Good luck with it though, looks nice.
